Clay & Create Workshop

Make your own textured cup or flower pot out of clay. Experience the grounding and playful nature of clay in this workshop for t(w)eens. The workshop is facilitated by artist and therapist Judy Fleming, who has over 20 years of experience working with clay. Participants will learn the stages of working with clay and will get to create, shape, and texture their pieces. After they are finished, they will also get to paint their pieces using underglaze- a special paint made just for clay. Finished pieces will be finished in Judy's studio and returned to the library, ready to enjoy with your favorite summer drink.
